PIONEERING

For over 30 years LRS has been the premier provider of large print reproductions to schools and other education providers across the US and Canada. Our founder, John Scharlin, developed and patented the LRS Full View format which enables books to be kept manageable (average size: 9"x 11" closed) while providing optimum type size.

COMMITTED

Through years of feedback from teachers and students we have developed new products to meet the needs of the users of large print. We are committed to providing the best quality product available.

INNOVATIVE

We are continuing to develop processes such as scanning, OCR and the selective use of color to improve our product, ever mindful of the price constraints of our customers. We have recently introduced the LRS Heritage and Cornerstone Series, a line of large print publications of classics and juvenile literature for libraries and individuals.

FLEXIBLE

We have over 20,000 titles stored on film and/or CD, but we can reproduce any book given a clean original. In almost all cases we will assume responsibility for securing publishers’ permissions.
